VFX BREAKDOWN 

 

I will be photographing as many of my assets as I possibly can. Any assets that I am unable to photograph I will be sourcing from Creative Commons. Assets that I know I cannot currently photograph, is the moon.  

I will be using Adobe Photoshop to matte paint everything together and use paint in effects such as extra clouds and still fog. I will then export each group into its own editable PSD file. Each file will go into its corresponding scene composite, where I will 2.5D animate the background.  

In After Effects I will be using 3D Layers to animate the backgrounds, creating a more realistic and believable background for this film. The clouds, trees and bushes will be animated, along with the light coming from the pub windows and the lamppost outside. Anything that would naturally move in the breeze will have some form of natural movement. I will be creating a parallax effect with my 2.5D animated backgrounds.
