BSA625/626- What I think about 3D animation

However, I do not like most of the creating of a 3D animation.
This semester I enjoyed modeling and texturing a character. I think it would be fun to use something like Z-Brush and create a static 3D model. AS it turns out I don't think I have the patience for everything else.
I found everything after texturing to be hard to understand and very finicky to deal with. I think the worst part for me was weightpainting. If I was able to start my weightpainting way earlier I think it would have turned out better and my model would have moved much more smoothly. I thought I had my weightpainting down pretty good, as it tuns out I didn't.
Would I do 3D Animation again?
Well, I would model and texture again. But when it comes to the actual animation, I'll stick with the 2D animatic thanks.
