BSA625/BSA626- Maya
Maya, all hell will break loose when we actually start using this for our work. Although I can't wait to actually start modeling my character. And of course the inevitable breakdowns in between all of the problems that are sure to arise.

Time to take some notes on Maya
Here are the shortcuts.

Time to take some notes on Maya
- Always remember to set project.
- Maya likes square reference images
- Underscores in naming conventions NO SPACES
- Name your shapes
- Remember to keep files clean by freezing, clearing history and center pivot
- Name your layers and have a colour system (eg, red for delete later)

Wineglass
- click plane and create a plane
- Resize to a bigger size.
- Rotate to 90o
- Add new shader- Lambert
- Rename shader to referenceWine
- add image-Colour, checker, file, pick image.
- Press 6
- Put it on a layer- create new layer/assign new objects/set a colour for that layer
- Make it reference using the 3rd box in layer (V/P/R)
- Go into orthographic view
- I had to use front instead of side.
- Then use the 3rd curve tool and outline half of the glass.
