BSA606-Introduction to Film Analysis

When I watch films, I think I lean more into identification rather then idealisation.

Lot's of politicians are seen using the idealisation of their people to get things such as votes and admiration. They identify what is most in line with themselves and uses it to idealise what they think is most important to them.
The form of a movie and how each element interacts can drastically impair how the audience see's a film. The colour palate can reflect and portray emotions, different shots mixed with contrasting narrative will give many different effects.
Notable film ages have very distinct styles. And nowadays we contribute a style to a Director, more so than the current age of film. Take Hayao Miyazaki, his films are most noted for their meaning full ideas, soft characters and beautiful animation.
